First Poetry Contest Offered by City's Poet Laureate

All styles and subject matter of poetry is encouraged by the city's first poet laureate in this first poetry contest.

Roses are red; violets are blue; there’s a first-ever poetry contest in town for all of you.

Surely a better-written poem than that will win.

David Denny, Cupertino’s Poet Laureate, is sponsoring the first city-wide contest that is open to anyone who lives, works or attends school in Cupertino.
