The tablets were selected for their compatibility with the Santa Clara County Library District’s extensive e-book collections.

The project came about through the Santa Clara County Library District, the Cupertino Library and the Cupertino Library Foundation. It is believed this approach to educating the public about these types of devices and library resources is unique in California.
