Don’t have time to go to the beach? Come to the Salt Room!

Have your mom ever tell you to gargle with salt water when you had a sore throat? There is actual science behind this folk remedy. Salt has been used for medicinal purposes for thousands of years, helping relieve ailments like inflammation and sinus congestion.

While eating salty foods may be bad for you, inhaling salt-infused air is great for your body. Salt therapy, or halo-therapy is the inhalation of microscopic salt particles, used as a treatment for a numerous of respiratory disorders, including asthma, common colds, sinus infections, bronchitis and cystic fibrosis. Salt acts like an expectorant, accelerating mucus clearance and improving lung function while killing harmful bacteria and soothing the respiratory system.

Our salt room is designed to amplify the treatment experience and provide deep relaxation while inhaling our highly concentrated salty air. The room is covered from floor to ceiling with salt, creating the absolute salt cave experience. During the session clients may choose to listen to relaxing music, mediate or read.
