A World Of Stories At Your Library

Cupertino Library hosts a free summer reading program "One World, Many Stories" for kids and adults.

School’s out for the summer for most everyone, but that doesn't mean that reading should take a summer break.

The Santa Clara County Libraries summer reading program One World, Many Stories kicked off at the beginning of the month, and runs to August 31. The program is no longer just for young children but for teens and adults as well, and anyone can sign up at any time.

The summer reading program includes crafts programs, performers and is a way kids can share their list of books read with one another online, and comment about the books, all while keeping up their reading skills over the summer.

Adults receive a book bag and book light when they join, teens get a Reading Club folder and mood pencil gift, and younger kids get a bookmark and sticker. When they are halfway through the program, they also get a pencil and upon completion they get a book.

The summer reading program One World, Many Stories registration is available online or in person at the Cupertino Library for kids, teens and even adults.
