Bryan Stow's Family Files Lawsuit Against Dodgers

Tuesday the Stow family filed suit and sends message of "thanks" to the public, today.

Bryan Stow’s family filed a Tuesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers and its owner Frank McCourt based on the March 31 beating of Stow, a Giant's fan, who was attacked after a game by two men in a parking lot at Dodger's Stadium.

The suit was filed on the basis of negligence, negligent infliction of emotional distress, and assault and battery.

The suit is on behalf of Stow’s two young children, and also includes complaints about future damages, such as the loss of future services, earnings and protections for Stow’s children.

Although Bryan’s father, David Stow, declined to comment on the suit, he did wish to send a thankful message out to the public.

“We’ve received letters and cards and emails and we thank the public tremendously. It’s so nice to read them and find out how they feel about Bryan and how they’re touched, and we thank them for that,” David Stow said in a phone interview this afternoon.
