An unlimited use card—which allows cardholders to check out up to 100 items at a time—is available for students for the $80 fee.

The nine member cities include Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Milpitas, Monte Sereno, Morgan Hill or Saratoga. Schools in the unincorporated county areas also qualify.

Patrons without cards may still use the facilities but will not be allowed to check out materials. The fee-based card structure was implemented July 1 as a result of high demand and low supply from state funds.
