Drive-Through Cookie Lane

Some creative thinkers in Cupertino came up with a clever way to draw in Girl Scout cookie customers.

Under the watchful eye of few moms, including Leslie Ericksen, a handful of Girl Scouts flagged down drivers on De Anza Boulevard. A strategically placed sign on Stevens Creek Boulevard led drivers through the parking lot of the church to the cookie-hawkers.

Alas, the drive-through lane for Girl Scout cookies is now closed at St. Joseph’s Parish. Friday afternoon was your last chance for a Thin Mint drive-by.

But if you’re still hankering for a Do-Si-Do, Safeways and Starbucks will have Girl Scouts out front. Check the Girl Scouts website for your closest cookie-selling location.
