Guess Where I Was When I Took This Photo

How well do you know Cupertino? Can you identify where I was standing when I snapped this photo?

Cupertino has many recognizable buildings, signs and structures throughout the city, but there are many non-descript scenes that could be found in Anywhere U.S.A.

Just how well can you distinguish those scenes in your own town from others?

I've posted two Guess Where I Was When I Took This Photo and I'm amazed and impressed with how quickly some of you have identified where I was standing when I took the photo and what it is of.

I thought I was so cunning with the photo I posted last week, which was of Gate 7 to the HP parking lot off of Homestead Road, but nooooo, not only did I get an email first thing in the morning with a reader's accurate guess, but more of you posted comments on the site, each one adding more detail to what the photo was. (And just for the record, I love the exchange between the readers in the comments so please guess in the Comments Section so everyone can be in on the fun!)

I'm surprised one of you didn't guess the date and time of when I took that photo! (Go ahead, I dare, no, I double-dog dare you to try and guess that!)

So, I'm on a mission to stump you all! Bwahahahaha!!!

OK eagle-eyed Cupertinians, try this one!

It's difficult to know what's going on in a kid's mind unless they feel confident enough to open upRead More and talk. And this program helps us adults to learn to listen differently.

I too was at this Challenge Day. It was my 6th. I first volunteered because I watched the programRead More on MTV "If You Really Knew Me" when my son was being severely bullied in middle school and saw the program was offered when he was a freshman in high school. My company strongly supports me volunteering for this and allows me to take the day off work to attend. I am continually humbled by what these teens share and saddened at what some of them have experienced in their short lives. This program is so valuable. I think every school should offer it and every parent should attend. It helps us to realize that we need to think twice before we judge or assume things about others when we know nothing about them. It is the volunteering opportunity that I look forward to participating in every year.
