Library Loves

The results are in, Cupertino's kids love books written by Mary Pope Osborne.

Cupertino Library has the largest circulation of any of the Santa Clara County libraries, boasting 3.28 million in annual circulation during 2010. Additionally, there were 948,000 visits to the popular library and 85,000 reference questions were answered, according to Mark Fink, community librarian.

Fink and his team compiled a series of Top Ten lists for Cupertino Patch to show what locals were reading in 2010. The first in the series, children's fiction, shows books by author Mary Pope Osborne, a clear favorite.

Osborne is known for her Magic Tree House series. Here's the first of the Top Ten lists:
