The Festival of Lights celebrates new endeavors, good beginnings.
The eighth annual Diwali Festival drew a huge crowd to Memorial Park Saturday, Oct. 8, for a celebration of the biggest holiday in India, which legend has is based on the triumph of good over evil.
Sponsored by the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce the event also celebrates the new business year in India, and a chance to connect the business community of the city with its residents.
