Thanksgiving at BlueLight Cinemas for Charity Group

West Valley Community Services' clients will enjoy a movie screening and a turkey meal on Thanksgiving Day.

Every Thanksgiving West Valley Community Services provides holiday meals for hundreds of its clients, and this year is no different, but it did come with some challenges.

First Bowlmor, the venue where they’ve held the annual meal and entertainment, declined holding the event there again due to management changes. BlueLight Cinemas came to rescue and is holding the event there this year giving WVCS’s clients a chance to watch a movie, too.

Then WVCS learned that the partner that was to provide the meals had to back out. A call for 300 Thanksgiving meals was answered.
