The Ladies in Pink Hoof it in Cupertino Again

Show your support for breast cancer awareness by joining two Cupertino women training for a 3-day Walk for a Cure.

Team Never Give Up will be pretty in pink again bright and early Saturday morning and they’re sending out their personal invitation to everyone through Patch to join them on their training walk for all or part of the walk to show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Last Saturday they walked a more than 14-mile loop hitting all five high schools in the Fremont Union High School District and had more than 60 human supporters, and five of the canine variety, join them for all or part of the way, including Mayor Mark Santoro, who slipped into a T-shirt with pink flamingoes dancing around.

Alysa Sakkas and Carrie Reichenberger are part of Team Never Give Up that is training for a three-day Susan G. Komen Walk for a Cure this month in San Diego.

Anyone interested in joining them should plan to meet outside of Starbucks at the corner of Stevens Creek and De Anza Boulevards at 7:30 a.m. If you have pink, wear it!
