The Traveling Vietnam War Memorial Wall is Going Up in Memorial Park

About 150 motorcycle riders escorted the wall from Gilroy to Cupertino Wednesday.

Led by Doug Lyvere and the Patriot Guard riders about 150 motorcycles accompanied by law enforcement escorted a traveling Vietnam War Memorial wall from Gilroy to Cupertino Wednesday afternoon.

The wall will be displayed in Memorial Park with special ceremonies on Thursday and Friday, which is Veterans Day. A team of volunteers is erecting the wall, the very beginnings of which can be seen in the accompanying photos.

Stay tuned on Cupertino Patch for more photos of the bikers, vets and the wall.
