Where to Sell or Donate Old Electronics in Cupertino

Make way for all of your cool new gadgets by selling or donating your old ones. Here are places throughout Cupertino where you can sell, donate or recycle electronics and e-waste.

Santa was generous this year!  All around Cupertino he left iPads, cell phones, laptops, video game systems, flat screen TVs and other electronics.

Now, you’re faced with the dilemma of what to do with your old stuff.

You can’t throw it away, because of the metals sealed into the tiny components.

Luckily, though, you have plenty of options.

First, you can try to sell your old devices. Take out a free ad on Craig’s List, or set them aside for your next garage sale.

If Craig's List isn’t your style, donate to an established charity. There is a Goodwill store located at 1125 S. De Anza Blvd.

But what if your stuff is so old that you can’t even give it away? Your final option is E-Waste Recycling.

The City of Cupertino has put together a list of businesses that accept E-Waste. Call ahead to find out if they accept the items you have to recycle. Some recyclers charge fees for some items.
