Reading "A Town Like Alice" at Cupertino Library

This month, the Cupertino Library Adult Book Discussion Group will read and discuss A Town Like Alice by Nevil Shute. During WWII, British POW Jean Paget befriends Australian POW, Joe Harmon. After the war, she goes to Australia, finds him and marries him. Together, they work to make Joe's home town in the Australian Outback 'A Town Like Alice.' (Alice Springs.)

The Cupertino Book Discussion Group meets on the third Thursday evening of each month in the library Story Room. Adults of all ages are welcome.
