Cupertino Library Welcomes Tim Stanley, author of Last of the Prune Pickers; A Pre-Silicon Valley Story to Cupertino Community Hall on Monday, September 10, 2012. Mr. Stanley’s engaging presentation will explore the agricultural history of the area, focusing on the orchards that defined the region and led to its being called the “Garden of the World.” Join us for an interesting look into the area’s agricultural past in this 45-minute talk to be followed by a question and answer session.
