according to my college major, i was told to study movies of francoise truffaut and alfred hitchcock. these are important movies to pay attention to the technicalities of how they were produced. if alfred hitchcock was making movies today would they do well at the box office or would they flop?

Good question, Randy. I also studied film in college...Bergman, Truffaut, Hitchcock, et al. Regarding your question, I do think there will always be room for and an eagerness of strong stories in film of content, no matter what other future trends there may be. At least I hope so!
