MythBusters Coming to the Flint Center Jan. 17

Hosts of popular TV show to appear at Flint Center with live on-stage experiments, audience participation.

Hosts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman of the popular science entertainment TV program MythBusters on the Discovery Channel will be appearing at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts on Jan. 17 with their all-new live stage show titled, "MythBusters Behind the Myths."

The live show is part of a 31-city Behind the Myths Tour that kicks off in Modesto, Ca on Jan. 6.

According to the Flint Center Web site, the event will be an unexpected evening of on-stage experiments, audience participation, video and behind-the-scenes stories from the TV show.

For the first-time ever, audience members will be able to join Savage and Hyneman on stage for real-life mythbusting experiments.

The show will start at 7:30 p.m. and tickets go on sale Jan. 11. For information on tickets, you can click here.

The Emmy-nominated show MythBusters first aired on the Discovery Channel in 2003, and features Savage and Hyneman as they use scientific method to test the validity of rumors, myths, movie scenes and Internet videos.
