Santana Row Showcases Fall Fashion
Full skirts, cropped pants, and all kinds of boots reigned the runway of the Santana Row Fall Fashion Affair last Saturday, reflecting the latest trends in the fashion world.
From casual mini sweater dresses of Free People to floor-length ballgowns of Franco Uomo, A-line was the silhouette of almost every skirt at the fashion shows.
As for pants and jeans on the runway last Saturday, most of them were from mid-calf to ankle length, and paired with ankle boots or booties.
Boots came in all lengths at the fashion shows. Donald J Pliner matched the same mini black dress with boots from ankle length to thigh high. Free People gave booties an interesting twist by putting them together with over the knee socks.
The evening fashion shows were Part II of the fashion event. Part I was Santana Style Stroll from 1 to 4 pm, which connected participants with style experts who would help them navigate the fall trends at Santana Row.
The evening fashion shows ran from 6 to 10 pm. The participating brands in chronological order of appearance on the runway were: Splendid, Free People, Donald J Pliner, Calypso St. Barth, Anne Fontaine, H & M, Ted Baker London, and Franco Uomo.
