Tiesto and 'I Love This City' Fest Now at Shoreline Amphitheatre

Ticketholders irate that electronic dance music festival has been moved from San Francisco.

San Francisco's loss is Mountain View and the South Bay's gain.

The popular electronic dance music festival, 'I Love This City' originally scheduled for Friday, May 25 and Saturday, May 26 at AT&T Park has been relocated to for those same nights. A Live Nation press release stated the move was due to production challenges surrounding the lot at the ballpark.

To accomodate concertgoers Live Nation, the concert producer, will provide a free shuttle bus to Mountain View for ticketholders who board in San Franciso. Also, the concert time has been extended until 11:30 p.m. and teens older than 16 can now attend.

However, while dance music fans in the South and East Bay welcome the shorter drive to listen to more than 40 DJs including Tiesto, David Guetta, Afrojack and Sebastian Ingrosso, people up in San Franciso and its surrounding are very upset and have even started to request ticket refunds.

"Well lets see, $150 refund x2 ... that's $300 more bucks I get to take with me to Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas 2012 .... SEE YA!" wrote Matt Joseph on I Love This City's Facebook page. "I believe in you Skills events, but not when you put on an event at at Shoreline Amphitheater, not even Laidback Luke can lure me back to that place!"

Some of the comments alluded to the fact that teens can now attend.

"Myself being 28, doesn't want to party while children run around, no offense but even you 18 year olds are too young," said Shane Barker.

Others complained that they had purchased their two day tickets general lawn pass for $150, however now the two day general admission lawn pass goes for $99.00. New Friday lawn general admission ticket are $50 and a $60 general admission lawn ticket is available for Saturday’s show.

Still, the everyone who does still plan to attend, looks that this festival will be a show stopper. The production includes a full massive experience including multiple art installations, over 4,000 sq. ft of LED screens, and over 80 of Vau De Vire Society's most talented acrobats, aerialists, contortionists and burlesque performers.

Here's the lineup of the performances:

Friday: Afrojack, Sebastian Ingrosso, Duck Sauce, Steve Aoki, Chuckie, Datsik, James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, AraabMuzik, Borgore, Brodinski, Claude VonStroke, Cookie Monsta, The Crystal Method, Cut Chemist, Dirtyphonics (live), FareOh, Holy Ghost!, Nervo, Oliver, Sh*t Robot, Sofi, Tenderlions, WhiteNoize and St. John.

It's difficult to know what's going on in a kid's mind unless they feel confident enough to open upRead More and talk. And this program helps us adults to learn to listen differently.

I too was at this Challenge Day. It was my 6th. I first volunteered because I watched the programRead More on MTV "If You Really Knew Me" when my son was being severely bullied in middle school and saw the program was offered when he was a freshman in high school. My company strongly supports me volunteering for this and allows me to take the day off work to attend. I am continually humbled by what these teens share and saddened at what some of them have experienced in their short lives. This program is so valuable. I think every school should offer it and every parent should attend. It helps us to realize that we need to think twice before we judge or assume things about others when we know nothing about them. It is the volunteering opportunity that I look forward to participating in every year.
