Monday
Worlds of Mystery Summer Camp, kids in grades 4-6 will explore the magical world of their own imaginations--and the surprising, real-life creatures they never knew existed.

Poet Laureate Application Deadline - If you have a talent for words in verse, hurry! Friday, July 26 is the day applications are due. The person selected will serve October 2013 to September 2015. Forms can be found at the City Hall Reception Desk, the Reference Desk of the Cupertino Public Library, the Quinlan Community Center, Senior Center, De Anza College and other places throughout the city. Free Shakespeare in the Park - 7:30 to 9:10 p.m. The San Francisco Shakespeare Festival returns to Memorial Park Amphitheater in Cupertino and celebrates its 31st season with Macbeth, directed by Kenneth Kelleher. Generally regarded as one of the Bard’s major tragedies (along with Hamlet, Othello, and King Lear), this is the first time SF Shakes has produced it for Free Shakespeare in the Park. The 100-minute play is for its suspenseful plot and thrilling scenes of witchcraft and swordplay.
