Bay Area Flights To, From Boston Affected

United, JetBlue flights showing delays

 

Bay Area airline flights in and out of Boston are experiencing delays today, the same day at least two bombs were detonated at the end of the Boston Marathon race, killing two and injuring scores more.

The Federal Aviation Agency issued a temporary flight restrictions (TFR) notice in the Boston area due to "hazards" around noon Pacific time.

According to FlightStats.com's website, United Flight #1667 left San Francisco International Airport 38 minutes late, heading for Logan International. United Flight #1742, scheduled for a 10:26 p.m. departure from SFO, is currently expected to depart 42 minutes late, at 11: 08 p.m.

JetBlue Flight #636 is expected to leave SFO at 11:29 p.m., about 15 minutes late.

In San Jose, JetBlue Flight #492 is expected to leave on time for Boston at 9:05 p.m.

There are no flights to or from Boston from Oakland International.

Flights from Boston expected to arrive in San Francisco and San Jose are also running late.

United Flight #351, from BOS to SFO, is running nearly an hour late, expected to land around 5:43 p.m.

And JetBlue Flight #471, from BOS to SJC, is more than an hour late, expected into San Jose at 5:58 p.m.
