The crew at broke out their cool blue Bitter+Sweet logoed t-shirts today in celebration of the shop's one-year-anniversary, and are getting ready to welcome Ed Viser, the designer and architect of the sleek coffee and dessert bar as guest barista.
Beginning at 3 p.m. Viser will step behind the counter to utilize his training as a graduate of the American Barista and Coffee School. Viser is the principal designer at Café Design & Architecture, which has designed other local projects such as the downtown Palo Alto Library, and the Microsoft South Campus in Mountain View.
A DJ will liven up the crowd that is being treated to Blueboon Blend Sightglass Coffee all day.
