Lei Garden: Cupertino Has a New Dim Sum Restaurant

The Cupertino Chamber of Commerce Commerce and the mayor welcomed a new Cantonese restaurant serving dim sum into town Thursday, in a festive noon ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Mayor Orrin Mahoney wished owners Alan and Paula Kuo well in opening at the  Bandley Drive location and becoming part of the revitalization of the area. The Kuos have operated Pan Tao Restaurant in Sunnyvale.

The restaurant takes its inspiration from the popular Lei Garden in Hong Kong, but there is no relation. That independent restaurant group operates ten restaurants on Hong Kong island, Kowloon and the New Territories.
