Interested in starting your own business, but don’t know how?  Already own a small business and want to learn how to make it grow? Most of Cupertino's 3,000-plus business licenses are small businesses.

The city of Cupertino is hosting its First Annual Small Business Friday, July 19, designed to help participants achieve their goals, whether it's getting started or improving a business that has been operating for years. Workshops will provide both prospective and current small business owners with the training and resources needed to grow and sustain their businesses.

The event is held at the Quinlan Community Center, 10185 N. Stelling Road, Cupertino, and runs 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Doors open at 9 a.m.
