Study: Cupertino 3rd Best City in California for Job Seekers

Five of the Top 10 are in the Bay Area.

If you’ve thought about changing jobs, you’re in the right place. According to NerdWallet, Cupertino is the 3rd best city in the state for job seekers.

The study focused on three factors:

  • Is the city growing?
  • Can you afford to live in the city comfortably?
  • Are most people employed?

NerdWallet was glowing in its praise of Cupertino: “For people with the right skills, Cupertino can be paradise. Over 75 percent of residents work in the scientific, business or management industries, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Cupertino just approved a new 2.8-million-square-foot campus for Apple, and the company estimates that by 2016, about 23,000 of its employees will call Cupertino home.”
