Bitter+Sweet now has outdoor seating, thanks to a little City flexibility.
, Cupertino's newest coffee shop, didn't think outdoor seating was a possibility until a special request was made—and granted.
City regulations initially deterred owner Janice Chua from pursuing at her coffee and dessert bar. But a visit from a resident prodded a request to the city to review the parking-to-seat ratio at the shop's Town Center Lane location, then voila! Outdoor seating.
