Taste of Cupertino Draws Huge Crowd

The second annual Taste of Cupertino event, sponsored by Cupertino Chamber of Commerce, drew hundreds to Vallco Mall during the cocktail hour of Saturday.

It looked like a food court, but smelled even better. The temporary food court at the lower level of Saturday consisted of stands staffed by various restaurants in Cupertino.

It was the second annual Taste of Cupertino sponsored by . The event sold 328 tickets, and 275 of the ticket buyers showed up to sample a variety of food, drink wine, listen to live music and mingle.

The participating restaurants were: , , , Bowlmor Lanes, Fontana’s Italian, , , , , , Tatami Seafood Buffet, and.

Some of the restaurant staff members there talked to Patch about their specialties. You can see the mouth-watering dishes they were serving and listen to what they said by viewing our video clips.

Also recorded were comments from former Cupertino Mayor Dolly Sandoval and Vallco manager Michael Rhode, as well as a performance of a live band, raffle drawing, and live auctions.
