Ashton Kutcher's The 'jOBS' Movie Will Close Sundance

Apple founder's childhood home in Los Altos gets its premiere at the indie film festival on the final night in shrewd move by organizers.

Sundance Film Festival organizers have chosen the Steve Jobs biopic starring Ashton Kutcher for its closing night slot.

Organizers announced Monday the 29 films that will compete and make their world premieres in Sundance, Utah in January.

Kutcher takes on the role of the " covering the company's start in unincorporated Los Altos after Jobs' graduation from Homestead High School to the black-turtlneck-clad CEO that turned the company into the consumer tech icon it is today.

Los Altans and others flocked to the three-day location shoot at Jobs' childhood home on Crist Drive in south Los Altos last June. Jobs' stepmother, Marilyn Jobs still lives in the home, but his father, Paul Jobs, passed away several years ago.
