Glitter and Bubbly and Cupcakes, Oh My!

What do glitter, cupcakes, cleavage and bubbly have in common?

Well, this Friday the idea is everything.

While First Fridays in downtown Campbell is in full swing, two local Campbell boutiques are opening their doors to the ladies to come, get pampered and spend some unadulterated girl time.

On one end of E. Campbell Avenue, is having its "Diva Day" for the first time at night.

Diva Day founder Lisa Jenssen of Bella Diva offers up "Divalicious skincare, facials and pamper parties" according to her facebook page.

The event have been going on for a couple of years now and owner of Simply Smashing! Deb Rohzen, who partnered with Jenssen as well as other local business women, says this is the first time she is having it on a Friday night, rather than Saturday afternoon.

Every event is themed and the proceeds go to charity, this one to breast cancer awareness.

Tonight's is all that glitters, making downtown Campbell feel a little like downtown LA and to emphasize this, the "quintessential boutique" is having Studio Joule from Los Gatos do LA Splash glitter eyeliner and Mehndi glitter body decals, Trisha Leaper Photography snapping away, massages by Cara of Spirit of Health in Cupertino and sweets for the sweet by Desserts by Jeannette.

"Make it a girls' night," Rohzen says.

The event goes from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight.

And just up the street, keep the ladies' vibe going, just further down the avenue is hosting "Cupcakes and Cleavage."

The boutique is open from noon to 9 p.m. tonight and the event goes from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

There will be bra fitting, which, if you bring a friend that has never been here before you get $10 worth of Dutchess Dollars towards your next purchase and there's a 20 percent off any regularly priced items in the store, with restrictions applying.

And if finding your correct bra size isn't enough enticement, the intimates boutique is also hosting Campbell business woman Jaime Rose's The Indulgent Rose, with some delicacies to go with the bubbly being served.

Dutchess is also rolling out their very first set of summer dresses and cover-ups.

Another fun girlie thing to do is pick your own scent. All of Holloywood's elite are doing it, so why not? Studio Parfum will be on hand helping the ladies come up with their signature scent.
