Hurricane Sandy Cancels Flights Across the Country

Best to check with the airline to see if your flight is cancelled.

More than a dozen flights to and from the East Coast have been cancelled this morning as Hurricane Sandy moves toward that part of the country, a San Francisco International Airport duty manager said.

Airlines have cancelled flights to and from six East Coast cities as the storm advances.

Affected airports include John F. Kennedy International Airport and LaGuardia Airport in New York, Newark Liberty International Airport, Baltimore Washington International Airport, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia International Airport, said SFO Duty Manager Nancy Parker.
