Jobs Jobs Jobs—Steve Jobs, That Is.

Steve Jobs and the company he co-founded are attention grabbers, so we've compiled a few headlines that grabbed us.

Unemployment rates in the country are not a part of this Jobs story. Apple and it's CEO Steve Jobs grab headlines near and far. Here are a few of today's grabbers found around the web:

  • in comic form? Why not? No, he’s not being dressed up like a superhero though some may call him that. Publisher Bluewater Productions has a comic book biography, Steve Jobs: The co-founder of Apple, coming out in August, according to a report on CNET.com. The 32-page comic book will be available in local comic book stores and on Amazon for $3.99.
  • If you were a fan of iWeb, Apple’s website creation software that was bundled with iLife and hosted by the soon-to-be dumped MobileMe, once floats down, a report, er um, rumor on MacRumors.com says an iWeb/MobileMe user asked Steve Jobs via email if the user would have to search out an alternative host. The user claims the response came back with a simple, “Yep.”
  • It seems as if everybody wants to jump on the spaceship bandwagon and talk about Jobs’ vision way back when he saw Apple’s headquarters in San Jose, not his hometown of Cupertino where it now sits, much to the delight of the city which enjoys devouring those tax dollars Apple brings in. The San Jose Mercury News ran an article on Saturday that got picked up in blogs such as Huffpost Tech (and please forgive the blogger’s misspelling of Cupertino and former San Jose Mayor Tom McEnery.)
  • It is said that Jesus walked on water, so does Steve Jobs walk on clouds? It seems his idea of the iCloud can be traced to his deep understanding of how technology creators and content producers didn’t know how to connect. Tim Bajarin of PCMAG.com thinks the cloud will be the center of an “Apple driven universe.”
