Minor Rumbling in Cupertino

A 3.7-magnitude earthquake shook the region this afternoon.

On the 105th anniversary of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, the floor shook once more, albeit at only 3.7 on the Richter scale, rather than the building-toppling 7.9.

So far 98 people in Cupertino recorded on the U.S. Geological Survey's website  that they felt the earthquake which was recorded at 1:57 p.m. about 45 miles from Cupertino.

Those who responded said it felt like a "2" on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest intensity felt.
