High overnight winds may have contributed to line failure.

Pacific Gas & Electric officials report that a power line is down in a residential area of Cupertino near Highway 85 resulting in service interruption to one customer. The power line likely came down during high winds overnight.

According to the PG&E customer service outage website, the outage occurred at 3:39 a.m. Monday. PG&E said a repair crew is working on the problem and estimates power will be restored around 1:15 p.m. Monday.
