As we gear up for backyard festivities for Memorial Day—which let's face it is synonymous with barbecue—let's figure out who in the city serves it up best.
The history of barbecue and the various styles is debatable according to chef and writer Jay Ducote, but it's important to not confuse grilling with barbecue (or barbeque or BBQ.) Grilling uses high, direct heat while barbecue employs the low and slow method along with rubs or sauces.
