This month, the Cupertino Library Adult Book Group will discuss Sue Diaz's Non-fiction book, Minefields of the Heart: A Mother's Stories of a Son at War, a 2013 Silicon Valley Reads selected title. Diaz relates the difficulties of having her son away at war in the Middle East, and the emotional difficulties that arise for soldiers and their families
while separated by thousands of miles during extended tours of duty.
The Cupertino Library Book Discussion Group meets on the Third Thursday of each month at 7 pm in the Library Story Room. Adults of all ages are welcome. All meetings are sponsored by The Friends of the Cupertino Library.
