Fr. Michael Lapsley, Director of Institute for Healing of Memories, presents "Courageous Conversations"

How do we talk and listen to those who have hurt us or
those who have been hurt by us, when those experiences trigger strong
emotions and reactions? Fr. Michael Lapsley will explore these issues in
conversation and Q&A, drawing from his work with the Institute for
Healing of Memories. Childcare provided; www.saintjudes.org.
(Come early for the 8:00 am church service or stay for the 10:30 am
service.)

Fr. Michael will present a series of talks about
conversations and healing in Cupertino.  Fr. Michael is an Anglican
priest from South Africa, who was injured in a letter bomb in 1990, losing both
arms and an eye. He recovered from extensive surgery and founded the Institute for
the Healing of Memories. He’s worked extensively in South Africa and
internationally, including Rwanda, Bosnia, Serbia, East Timor, and also works
in the USA with war veterans.  He was recently elected one of the
Vice Presidents of the South African Council of Churches.  Here are other
