God, Suffering, Human Beings and how to make sense of it all--Adult Forum with Carl Jech

From Rabbi Kushner and Job, to Lao Tzu and the Buddha, to Elizabeth Kubler Ross and palliative (comfort) care, to Jesus and St.Paul -  the question is WHY?  Why suffering?  The theological term is "theodicy." If God is all-powerful love, why is there suffering? Good question? "To be or not to be - THAT is the question"!  Carl Jech, Professor at De Anza College, discusses this in an Adult Forum in the Parish Hall.  Childcare provided.
