“Cooking Around the World” West Africa: Chiefo’s Kitchen Moi-Moi Cakes ● $10

Proceeds from every class in the Culinary Center in March will be donated to the Whole Planet Foundation

Friday, March 28th ● 6pm-8pm

Moi-Moi is a savory cake made with steamed, pureed black eyed peas. Seasoned with tomatoes, onions, assorted peppers and a hint of crayfish. Topped with Nigerian tomato sauce, fried onions and choice of crispy corned beef, boiled egg or fried fish. Cheifo’s Kitchen is a woman-owned business, supports local farmers and also gives back to the areas of West Africa where some her ingredients are sourced.
