YMCA lunch lecture: Nutritional Needs as We Grow Older

At the Y, we’re committed to helping you live healthy and happy. Join us at Northwest YMCA, on Friday, May 23, from 1:00-2:00 pm, for a lunch lecture by nutrition educator Kim Verity as she leads our next Active Older Adults discussion.

Kim will discuss healthy food choices we should consider as we age, including:

  • The role nutrition plays in preventing chronic disease
  • Foods that keep our minds sharp
  • The Mediterranean diet
  • The DASH diet
Bring a lunch, your questions and a friend. We will provide light refreshments. This event is free to Northwest YMCA members and their friends. Not a member yet? Learn how you can become a member and join our Y family.
