Jagi received his degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Madras in India in 1970.

From 1970 to 1979 he worked for Blue Star Ltd., Hewlett-Packard's distributor in India as a Field Engineer in Hyderabad and then as an Area Manager in Bangalore. In 1979, Jagi moved to the US and after a few short stints at Zilog, National Semiconductor and Osborne Computer, Jagi went "home" to HP where he worked in Sales, Marketing and Product Management from 1983 to 1993.

Jagi then left HP to go into marketing and software process consulting and was Vice President at Pretzel Logic Software as well as an independent Industry Analyst for IDC, from 1994 to 1999, before ending up at Evolve Software, Inc.—as we went through the Dot Com boom and bust. In 2002, after setting up and running Evolve's offshore development operation in Chennai, India, as its Managing Director, for a year, Jagi finally left the high tech world.

From 2003 until the present, Jagi has worked with his wife in the Real Estate industry at Alain Pinel Realtors where they focus on helping people sell and buy the homes of their dreams.
