Good Pork Ribs Right in Our Backyard

You heard me; right in our backyard no less. I don't believe there is just about anything more difficult than changing a restaurant to bring it back to life. My sincere compliments to John B. and his team at Armadillo Willy's on So. De Anza Boulevard and Stevens Creek. You have pulled it off and continue to improve on the concept of tried and true ole fashioned BBQ.

If my readers on this blog also read my Yelp rantings you know that a few months back I was not too kind to AW's. You will also know that I'm been updating that initial review with accolades of praise for the changes in the menu and email offerings. In particular, I recommend you visit Willy's and get your name on their email list so you too can participate in offerings like the, just out, $22 pork rib special for two. The ribs are finger-licking good and the offer comes with two sides, of which I am fond of the beans and fries option. My wife prefers the slaw and fries. 

I can't leave out the people who work at Willy's. Their service is good. The last three times we've been to Willy's the manager has come by the table to pick up dishes and to have a conversation about the food and service. There is really a caring atmosphere and it shows.
