Okay; so Prop 30 passes, then what? I believe all of you should read the Little Hoover Commission's Report "Public Pensions for Retirement Security."
Increasing taxes on the wealthy is just the beginning. In the private sector we gave up “Defined Benefit Plans” decades ago because of fuzzy assumptions and non-sustainability.
An increased tax needs to be followed by a restructuring of the entitlements programs. Maybe even a “claw-back” in some cases where legal?
