Stevens Creek Trail

Wow! I am so excited about the City of Cupertino having approved the expansion of the Trail from Black Berry through to Stevens Creek Blvd. Thank you so much; huge addition to the Trail.

On another topic I'm curious what is being done at the City level to accommodate mobility of human beings in the City. With all the commercial growth completed, vacancies filled, under construction and planned; how in the world are we going to move around from point A to point B without serious congestion or gridlock? IMHO just the completion of new growth has created some parking and congestion issues. What will it be like in 5 or 10 years if the City does not plan for this growth?

One thing I've noticed is that traffic from 280 and 85 is flowing over onto alternative routes like Stelling, Stevens Creek, Foothill, HWY 9 and other surface streets trying to avoid congestion on those routes.

Gosh; is it just me that is concerned about the future? Sometimes I wonder as so many tell me there is no mobility issue in Cupertino. Well; maybe not yet, just wait.
