Falling for Fall Fashion

With the weather changing from sunny skies to grey, it's time to trade in your cut-offs and tank tops for some fantastic fall fashion!

With September coming quickly to an end, and October making its way into our lives, the time is coming to retire our denim cut-offs, and summer crop tops, and make way for the wonderful cozy fashion of fall.

Fall fashion is great because it becomes almost effortless to mix style and comfort. I know we all have those mornings where our alarm clocks go off and it’s still dark outside and all you want to do is stay cuddled up under your blankets.

So when you’re forced to get out of bed and brave the cooler fall weather, it’s tempting to throw on an old sweatshirt and call it a day. But in the fall, it takes the same amount of time and effort to look your best everyday. All you have to do is pair jeans and boots with a cardigan and a scarf and you’re good to go.

I recommend keeping with a good pair of skinny or straight-leg jeans, which you can pair with a less-fitted sweater for maximum comfort.

Plus, fall gives you the chance to wear all of those great, rich, nature colors, like deep greens, burnt oranges, maroons, and eggplant. These colors look great on many different completions and will look perfect with the cloudy skies and leaf-covered-streets.

My fall obsessions:
-boots, boots, BOOTS!
-cardigans & sweaters
-scarves

Happy (almost) October, and may you all have a fantastically fashionable fall!

It's difficult to know what's going on in a kid's mind unless they feel confident enough to open upRead More and talk. And this program helps us adults to learn to listen differently.

I too was at this Challenge Day. It was my 6th. I first volunteered because I watched the programRead More on MTV "If You Really Knew Me" when my son was being severely bullied in middle school and saw the program was offered when he was a freshman in high school. My company strongly supports me volunteering for this and allows me to take the day off work to attend. I am continually humbled by what these teens share and saddened at what some of them have experienced in their short lives. This program is so valuable. I think every school should offer it and every parent should attend. It helps us to realize that we need to think twice before we judge or assume things about others when we know nothing about them. It is the volunteering opportunity that I look forward to participating in every year.
