Complete a Cal Water Survey for a Chance at a Grand

The water company wants to know how customers prefer to receive water-related information and is dangling a $1,000 gift card as an incentive to get you to tell them.

Let your voice be heard by Cal Water and earn a chance at a grand by taking the water company’s online survey about your preferred means of communication.

“We are committed to providing excellent service, and one way to do that is to know how customers prefer to receive water-related information from us,” said Shannon Dean, director of communications.

“For example, would customers rather get emergency notifications via door hangers or text messages? Would they prefer to get water conservation information on our web site or on Facebook? We need the answers to these and other questions in order to use our resources most efficiently,” she said in a statement.

After completing the online-only survey—the company says this is to save printing and postage costs—customers are entered in a drawing for a $1,000 Visa gift card or one of 25 Visa gift cards valued at $100.

The survey can be accessed at www.calwater.com/survey. For customers without computer access call 650-917-0152 to request a hard copy of the survey by mail, which is available in either English or Spanish.
