Free Cooking Demo on Sunday at Monta Vista Market
In celebration of Earth Day, Monta Vista Market is hosting a cooking demonstration using locally sourced products.
The freshest produce is that which comes to the table from nearby, from local farms and orchards, and nutrition experts believe the freshest products deliver the most nutrients. On Sunday, nutrition expert and chef, Joni Sare, will demonstrate at how to cook up that produce and other locally sourced products, in ways that the whole family can enjoy it.
In an Earth Day demo from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sare will select items from the shelves of the newest market in Cupertino and give up some of her tips on healthy eats.
Kids are encouraged to attend to give her food the “kid test.”

Demonstrations run throughout the three hours so it’s not necessary to arrive at any particular time.
Monta Vista Market is located at 21666 Stevens Creek Blvd., across from the post office.
