The San Jose Sharks lost Game 3 of their Western Conference Quarter Final series against the St. Louis Blues in a game that showed a lack of passion with absolutely no sense of urgency until literally the final minutes when it was too late.
If the breakdown in discipline was bad in Game 2 then Game 3 was a complete disaster! San Jose would take four penalties in the game which was a far cry from all the melees that occurred in Game 2. The disaster came in the form of a penalty killing unit that was almost nonexistent! The St. Louis Blues enjoyed a power play unit that was 75% effective accounting for 3 of their 4 goals en route to beating the San Jose Sharks to take a 2-1 series lead.
The only silver lining out of this dismal game was the fact that the Sharks finally found a way to solve Brian Elliott and score more goals than Games 1 and 2 combined!

Will the Sharks scoring frenzy from the end of Game 3 carry over into Game 4 or will St. Louis continue making the Sharks sing the 'Blues' during a penalty kill?
Game 4 is Thursday, April 19. Puck drops at 7:30 p.m. local time.
