Sunnyvale School District Board of Education Endorses My Vote, Our Future

Following the lead of Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE), on April 5, 2012, the Sunnyvale School District unanimously endorsed the principles guiding My Vote, Our Future's voter education and registration effort.

All five school board members passed the effort to encourage schools within the district to inform and promote voting by lending assistance to voter registration drives involving area high school students and their parents or guardians.

A training effort involving students at area high schools is under way. Once trained, peer-to-peer efforts will endeavor to register as many 18-year olds as possible.
