PG&E presented it's case to Sunnyvale's Town Council on the 25th of February in regards to why they must continue to kill old growth trees and all vegetation within a 10 foot radius of their gas lines. PG&E, as expected, did not have answers to most questions and sidestepped the point of issue when they did answer. PG&E's overall attitude was as if they plan to do what ever they want to do no matter what. When asked if cost comparisons were done on tree removal versus laying down new pipe for gas transmission the answer was the public would have to pay for that. Yet, while stating there was a 500 million dollar fund for tree removal and it would cost millions of dollars for new pipe one would think a comparison was conducted.
Obviously PG&E could not care less about trees or the environment including the animal habitat. The ease of pipe inspection is the only thing that they care about. PG&E must think we are all idiots as to not see what morons have and still are making decisions at their headquarters. We as a people must not give in to their lies and jackass mentality. If we do then they will ruin everything California stands for. And make you and I pay for it!!!!!
